I began playing golf in a summer camp around 8 years of age, and since then golf has become the one sport I really enjoy. Over the past several years, I have gotten into a local golf league and the high school golf team, and have joined competitive leagues such as Middle Atlantic PGA and Peggy Kirk Bell Golf.
I am well rounded with all the clubs, and have excellent long game. I take the time to analyze a situation, but understand that I shouldn't take too much time out from the game. I strive to learn from my mistakes, and am always reaching to improve my mental game and technique. Above all, I believe that golf is a game of integrity and companionship, and immerse myself in the spirit of the game.
I work to maintain high grades and a high GPA in high school, and have a interest in technology and science. I am part of Science Olympiads, Science National Honor Society, and National Honor Society for the chance to make a difference in my school and community and to further pursue my interest in science. I am also participating in volunteer activities over the summer in my local library and for the Special Olympics.
I am interested in a college that can provide good financial aid and merit based scholarships, so I am free to peruse both competition on the course and take the classes I want without having to worry about money.
