I began playing soccer when I was 5 years old, but I basically ran towards the ball in a pack with everyone else. When I was 11 years old, I started playing again and found that I really enjoyed the team aspect of the sport. I have the stamina to run for long periods of time and have tried other sports, like cross country and swimming, but found that my passion lies with soccer.
Throughout my years playing soccer, it was challenging to find a team where I felt that I could improve with, be successful, and have fun. I have found all three of these with my current team. I welcome the challenge at every practice and game to improve my play to meet the higher standards of my coach. Our team hasn't always been successful, but I have learned, along with the rest of my team, how to work together effectively to meet our goals, which resulted in the Jefferson Cup Division Championship. My positive attitude, work ethic, and coachable personality would be an asset to your team.
