My name is Alexander Honcharenko, I was born in 2006 in Kyiv. I have been swimming since 6 years old . It has started as a hobby in a small school swimming pool. But later I was fascinated by the process of swimming training process and the competitive process. I was accepted to the sports swimming school of the Olympic reserve in Kyiv.
And already at the age of 10 I had 2 workouts, one of them started at 6 in the morning. I was a bronze and silver medalist of the Ukrainian championships in the breaststroke distances, but then after the covid quarantine, freestyle obeyed me. And already in November 2021, I completed the standard of the Master of Sports of Ukraine at a distance of 200 freestyle with a score of 1.56.98. But the immediate plans were interrupted by a full-scale war, thanks to the Bulgarian Swimming Federation in March 2022, I was able to continue training,
later trained at the Bulgarian club Levski 2014 under Adriana Prokopieva.
My best times so far.
Summer championship of Bulgaria 50 meter pool 200 crawl - 1.55.45
Winter champion of Bulgaria, November 2022 pool 25 meters 100 crawl - 51.70, 200 - 1.52.67
I am a team athlete, although swimming is a single sport, I always on the same wavelength with the team, I give my best in relay races in order to achieve the team at 100%.
