I have been swimming for most of my life and one of my main high school goals as a senior is to make it to the collegiate level. I believe that preforming at the college level is a worthy achievement for any athlete but also a difficult one. This is why I plan to work incredibly hard to reach this goal and once it is achieved I will continue the practice of hard work.
Throughout my swimming career I have made several athletic accomplishments competing at high school state championships and club championships. On both of my teams I have always felt the responsibilities of being a leader. By encouraging fellow swimmers, leading in exercises, and overall hoping to be an inspiration to the younger generations. My maturity has developed and my enjoyment of the sport has been strengthened. Swimming is a top priority for me not only as a form of exercise but as a daily social enjoyment.
Along with my athletic achievements I have also focused my own academic capabilities striving to stretch my limits to the maximum. This involves scheduling advanced Honors and AP classes in order to challenge myself. In these classes I emphasize a studious mentality and I have benefited because of this earning a 4.0 GPA and increasing my knowledge of many subjects. Exceptional academics have always been an important part of my schooling career and I plan to continue excelling at the college level.
