My name is Blake Newton. I have swam on a year-round and summer leagues since I was about five years old. Swimming has been my main and only sport since then. I’ve tried many other sports in the past but they do not have the same feeling and excitement as swimming does to me. I’ve always dreamed of swimming in my college career. My family has dedicated a lot of time, and volunteering, etc. in helping me to make my dream come true. During my high school career my focus has been on strength conditioning and improving my technique, especially breaststroke and butterfly. I like the challenge that my coaches have set forth for me to achieve in order to obtained my goals. I look forward to seeing what my future has to offer.

Making water safety and aquatic fitness accessible and inclusive for all. Our mission as a non-profit is to elevate aquatics across the Richmond region. And we do that with programs designed to empower every kind of swimmer, now and for life.

- This two-day clinic is directed at swimmers who want to make a big improvement in a short amount of time. The SpeedWeekend format allows for a comprehensive presentation of optimal technique. Two strokes are presented in the morning classroom on each of the two days and then analyzed with Aquanex+Video in the afternoon session. This clinic will provide swimmers with a great deal of individual feedback, numerous opportunities to practice short swims without fatigue, and a complete analysis of each stroke. This clinic is limited to 12 participants to ensure plenty of individual attention for incomparable progress.
