My name is Evan Trout and I attend Bellingham High School in Bellingham, Washington. I swam on Oakwood High School's varsity team my Freshman and Sophomore years, as well as year round for the Dayton Raiders and currently, Bellingham Bay Swim Team. Having swam for five years on a club team, it has instilled qualities that I know will carry me through my swim and personal career, specifically, a strong work ethic, ability to adapt to new situations, commitment to achieving goals, and building strong relationships with teammates and coaches. Being a distance swimmer, I have the mental commitment to put in the additional time required to be successful. My goal for college is to pursue a career in Graphic Arts/Design or Architecture. It is important for me to find a school that balances out my desire to swim collegiately while obtaining a degree in a field of interest where I will be successful.
