Alex Petry '12 Recruiting Profile

   Hi, My name is Alex Petry and swimming is my passion. I have been swimming competetively ever since i was 7 years old. I grew up learning the fundamentals of swimming with the Fairmont Aquatic Club and the Fairmont Area Swim Team. When i got into high school, my game boosted extremely. My accomplishments include 2 Time All-Conference Champ, 3 All-Region Champ, and my best performance at the state swim meet was this past year. I placed 4th in the 100 yard backstroke. I am approaching my senior year and I have decided that I don't want to stop swimming just yet. I am seriously thinking about stepping my game up to the next level. I have been team captain for my swim team for the past two years. I absolutely love the leadership role I have on my team, I am about 5'8' and weigh 140 lbs. My two main events are the 100 yard backstroke and the 50 yard freestyle. I have placed high in both of those events on the state level. I would love to see the oppurtunites I have at the next level.
