Hi, my name is Eros Rexach. I attend Kohler Highschool as a Sophomore and Swim at Sheboygan North via our Co-op. I've been competitively swimming through the Sheboygan Chinooks YMCA team since I was nine. My favorite stroke to swim is breaststroke since I have always had a natural gift at it which distinguishes me from others swimmers. During my Freshman year, I qualified for the Midwest Regional Swim meet in Minneapolis for the Chinooks team. In my 200 Yard breaststroke, I achieved first place in my age group. I also have other great qualities besides swimming. I pushed myself academically to receive a 3.72 GPA (UW) in my freshmen year. I also joined the Robotics Club this year which competes in the FIRST Tech Challenge. Also over the summer immediately after I turned 15, I became CPR/AED Certified by the American Red Cross. During the beginning of the school year, After getting certified, I worked as a Swim instructor at the YMCA for children between the ages of five and eleven for 2 months. I taught the fundamentals of swimming and worked in the water with the kids and parents teaching them stoke development techniques. Teaching the next generation the skills to be confident swimmers gave me a sense of accomplishment, and I plan to continue teaching during my off-seasons. This year, I am training hard every practice to drop time on all my events. Throughout my whole life, I've strived to become a better version of myself, and when I set goals, I go beyond my expectations.
