Nathan Halbach '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I’m Nathan Halbach. I am in the class of 2022, I was adopted from Ukraine when I was three, and now reside in Sun Prairie, Wi. Ever since being in the US, my parents said I was drawn to the water, so I began swimming competitively at 9 years old. I was never the fastest in the pool, but I pride myself on my perspective of practices, I won’t let anyone worker harder or smarter than I do, I try to push myself one percent more each practice, one percent may not seem like much, but when you get one percent better everyday that totals up quickly. I want to bring these ideologies to a team where I can motivate and push my teammates, to bring the best out of them everyday. When it comes to academics I would like to be challenged in the classroom, which would lead to being prepared for my life after college.

-I mainly excel in IM and distance back, but I enjoy doing fly,breast, and free as well.
