Zach Friell '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal in colligate swimming is to work as hard as possible to be as successful as possible. My highest goal is to qualify for the Olympic Trials and with an amazing coach at my side I believe that is possible. I am a great candidate for any team for many reasons, currently I am the leader of my team and have high expectations to follow of my club team. I am respected by many parents and with the recent loss of my head coach I must guide my fellow swimmers through the rest of the season. I work hard at school, practice, work you name it. I always try my hardest to do the best I can, so that I can be successful in life. When I am hit with a hard time I work through it with the help of others. When I was in 3rd grade my mom was killed in a car accident, now at a young age I hadn't really understood death but now that I am older I strive to work hard for my mom everyday. I believe that I am a great fit for any college team of any shape or size.
