I am currently a freshman at Douglas MacArthur Junior High School with all A’s while taking all honors classes. During the summer before my 8th grade year of 2019, I suffered from growth plate issues causing pain in my right shoulder. Because of this, I was not able to play tennis until late July of 2020. Despite the long layoff, I finished the season by winning our state 5A singles championship. Since then, I have continued efforts to improve my game with three group clinics, three independent workout sessions, a private lesson as well as independent hitting sessions with collegiate or former collegiate players, all on a weekly basis. In addition, I hit off a ball machine twice per week. I am a self-starter and a tenacious player who always seeks improvement and who is willing to put in the work to reach a high level of collegiate or professional play.
