A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.
This quote by Colin Powell is true on every level and is the center of my own core beliefs. I personally set goals everyday in order to complete tasks, and I see myself always doing my best to fulfill each and every one. Hard work is a key to success and I personally don't see how someone can dream big or want to be great at something without it. To become a collegiate tennis player has been a dream of mine for a very long time, but I don't just sit on the couch and hope for the talent to come to me.
I am a hard and diligent worker who goes above and beyond in school work and tennis training. I am currently a 4.00 student and recently transferred from private school to public school, to increase my tennis exposure. I have a private coach, practice tennis before and after school on week days, and schedule tournaments or practice matches on the weekends.
I am passionate and single minded about achieving my dream, and I am fully committed to succeed. I am looking for an opportunity to be a part of a college team, where I can give everything I have to offer; a team that is as determined to succeed, as I am.
