Tennis has been my passion from the day I picked up a racquet. It's such a wonderful competitive sport today and its just a goal of mine to play tennis at the highest competitive level for as long as I possibly can. As far a college goes I'm very determined on playing tennis hopefully somewhere on the west coast, but I'm very open minded on going to school east.
Academically I'm a good well rounded student that does well in every class. In 8th grade actually, I had decided that I wanted to graduate from high school then go on to college to get a degree in engineering to become a chemical engineer. I guess you could say its been a dream of mine and I plan to uphold that dream, and with my grades and attitude in school I don't see anything that could possibly stop me.
The sport of tennis has really made me the guy I am today and has affected my life so much with the up and downs. I'm always just happy to be on the court. Tennis has showed me hard work and determination not just on the court but in life and in my academics which I know will really pay off in the long run. My passion for tennis has never really slowed down ever since I started playing which is the main reason I think I've been able to improve so rapidly. I just really think college tennis is where I would absolutely thrive with the team aspect at such a competitive level.
College tennis something I've set my mind on and that will absolutely not change, my persistency is just as strong off the court as is on the court. Now, why should you put me onto your team, the big question... I was not blessed as a child with amazing talent on the tennis court with a racquet, I was blessed with my grit. I was blessed with my mentality on the court and hard headedness that pushes my absolute limit at all times. I'm a dependable player who will find a way to win when it doesn't seem so. That mentality also has an astounding affect on the practice court as well, nothing good comes easy. I tend to push my body to the limit and it pays off. Coaches have probably also noticed that hard work is contagious while training, it spreads from one guy to the next on the tennis court and that's something that really benefits a team. It's a personal goal of mine to make sure when I'm on the court that nobody is working harder than me, and I stay true to that. I hope that you read this and truly realize that I have the heart of a champion and I will do everything in my power to win and support a team.
