My name is Sebastian and I am a pationate tennis player. I am Polish but was born and spent most of my time competing in Switzerland. Here in Switzerland I was selected to be part of a cantonal team (canton Vaud with the capital in Lausanne) as well as Regional Team (selected by the Swiss Federation). While playing tennis I still continued my very demanding academic program at the International School of Lausanne (IB school).
I am a huge sports enthusiast, I play tennis and compete at mostly local Spanish tournaments at the moment but also started ITF tournaments. I was a competitive football player in Switzerland, up to the age of 12, and have been skiing since I was 3 years old. Sport is not only a passion it has become a way of life for me. It has taught me discipline, perseverence and humility. At 15 I decided to move to Spain to continue developing my tennis skills at the Soto Tennis Academy
Most of my educational years have been based on the IB system at the International School of Lausanne. I also attended the British International School in Jakarta (2012-2014). Currently I am enrolled at Laurel Springs because it provides me the flexibility I need to attend international tennis tournaments. My preferred subjects are humanities and languages.
My true passion is Tennis. I know the importance of a good education and the value it will bring me later in my life. However, nothing gives me as much pleasure as being on the tennis court and serving for match point. I have been inspired by Iga Swiatek (WTA #1) who is a family friend and who at 18 years old was staying with us and playing in a small WTA Futures tournament. She won the Futures tournament and 2 months later won the French Open.
At the moment I compete mostly in Spain but I also had a chance to take part in some ITF events where I played doubles with my older brother Alex.
I play with a Babolat Drive racket and work with Babolat Switzerland.
