My name is Jean Pierre Santamaria and I am graduating in the year2021 and my college aspirations and goals are to go to a good university that is division 1 and play tennis for them. Of course, a thousand other kids are trying to do the same thing as me, but I feel that I have this drive, this motivation, this desire to win, on and off the court. I love winning, and nothing will keep me from doing that, but you cannot always win; you also have to learn to accept losing and better yourself using that experience you have. I would make the right candidate for a tennis team is because I know what it is like to be a student-athlete. For my first year of high school, I went to a tennis academy in Florida called Academia Sanchez Casal.
Moreover, I am learning how it is to be in college. I boarded there, and I woke up early to run and practice my tennis. I learned how to juggle with both tennis and school, following a schedule that helped me a lot. So I know how the college experience is.
Currently, I am attending Laurel Springs while going to train at ClubMed Academies, and I feel that it also helps me prepare for college because I have to follow a schedule in order to play my best tennis and do well in school also. The thing that makes me different from other recruits is that I have much character to my personality, and I know how is it to train at a high level because I train at an academy. Moreover, my academic is also outstanding. Because I feel that people are not only looking at your tennis but also your academics. Going to University/ College should be a necessity for everybody. It helps you with a wide variety of things in your future, and it can help you get a job which can lend to making good money, which leads to having a good life. This wants many people to want, but some think they do not have to work for it. But in reality, you do, even the most talented and gifted individual in the world still has to work. Also, even if they are willing to work, they work because they think there is a prize in the end, which is money. However, what I think is that you have to work not because of the money and what it brings, because you want it and you devote your entire life to it. For me, school is above everything else, and it is what gets you further in life than the others.
