Jayda Lee '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jayda Lee. I am currently a sixteen-year-old junior enrolled at Laurel Springs Academy, maintaining a 4.2 weighted GPA.

My dedication to hockey has overshadowed all other passions in my life. I practice on ice 3 to 4 times a week with a 19uAA/AAA girls team, 16u AA boys team, and a private coach. As a defenseman, my strengths lie in my physicality and situational awareness. I can process plays quickly and recognize where my teammates are and where they need me to be. Consequently, my favorite thing about the game is learning to play and grow with my team. To be successful in hockey is to understand how to build off one another's skills. 

I'm working to play NCAA/ACHA college-level hockey. Concerning academics, I'm hoping to find an educationally focused environment. I intend to major in business, civil engineering, or a similar degree.  I also partake in volunteer work and hope to have the opportunity to give back to the community in college as well.
