My family comes from a not so very heard of, the country of Laos. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I am able to keep up with my academics as a student-athlete with a 4.536 GPA. I am part of a social justice group called H.Y.P.E-X (Challenge 5280), where we compete with other schools to find ways we can change the social justice issues in our school. I play the Violin. I also like to cook and baking. I also have the passion to play volleyball.
Coming from a low-income school, playing tennis as a sport has not really been the main attraction for anyone. That being said, we had a really small tennis team. It was exciting to play tennis, but I was placed on their only team with very little experience, playing tennis as a varsity doubles 1 player. In the end, I had found a passion to play tennis and furthermore my tennis skills, competing at the intercollegiate level. No matter what, I will invest all I have to improve upon my self as a person and a student-athlete.
