Dane Shuart '22 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my childhood, I played little tennis asides from my summer league at my local club. As a freshman, spring came around and I decided I would join the team having no expectations. After making second doubles on my team, I realized tennis was without a doubt the best sport I had ever played, even after playing soccer my whole life. Unfortunately, my sophomore year got cut short, although, I continued to work hard earning the third singles spot my junior year. Currently, I realize that I would love to continue playing tennis my whole life, starting with college. I understand that I simply may not be the best candidate compared to most who have played their whole life, but I know that I will continue to get better every day to work for a college spot.
