Dear Good Coach
I hope you are doing well. My name is Jay Kubota, I just started my senior year at Emilio Sanchez Academy in Florida after completing my first 3 years at Evert Academy. I am from Japan, but was born in the United States. As I start my college search, I am looking for a school that will allow me get a good degree but that has a strong tennis team culture that will allow me to continue to grow and develop my game.
Currently I am an 8.74 UTR and expect to be approximately a 9.5 by the time I enter college next fall. I also have a 10-4 record against 2 start recruits from Tennis Recruiting. Here is a recent video that shows a bit about my game, especially my strength in moving forward and closing points at the net: https://youtu.be/2BWUCIMlvEE
Academically, I carry a 3.6 GPA and plan to study Business Administration in college. I am extremely organized and an eager learner both on and off the court.
There is a lot more to myself than I have included in this email, I would love to be able to share more while learning more about your team. Please let me know if you would be interested in connecting so I can learn more about the potential opportunity to join your program in Fall 2025.
Warm Regards,
Jay
