Daniel Vargas '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Daniel Vargas.   I am former student at Ida S. Baker High School, and Online Buena Vista University full time student.  I'm looking for a university or college to extend my academic and athletic career. My goals are to be a top notch collegiate tennis player, as well as to get a top notch Also, I am a team player and I want to contribute to the success of your program. I am a dynamic and very charismatic young man, and I feel what separates me from other recruits is that I refuse to let anyone outwork me, on the court or in the classroom. I am a very flexible player; I can play both singles and doubles, and I excel at both. One of my strengths on the court is that I hustle and fight for every ball; I do not give up regardless of the score. 

    Previously in 2023-2024 freshman year college I had a nice season with learning new experiences, and new regions of the U.S. competing with all different level's of players! I learned a lot of experience my first year, and look forward to returning one day to collegiate Tennis.   A few of my spotlights were going undefeated in singles in our trip to South Carolina going 3/3, being able to compete with 7, 8, and 9 UTR's with long rallies battles, Going 8-8 in singles in a competitive conference , and lastly, creating forever lasting memories and friendships along my journey.
