I am looking to contribute to a varsity level tennis team by competing at the collegiate level. I believe I attain attributes important to a team environment. My main strengths are: I am a team player and support my teammates (I was #1 Singles player on my high school tennis team); I am driven and very focused on goals (4.019 Weighted gpa). Lastly, I have been described by many coaches as extremely coachable. I have been also told I am a very driven person both on and off the court and I give my all to reach my goals and team goals. Academically, I have always taken the harder courses available as I believe I am capable of pushing myself and achieving more learning through these harder level courses. I have taken rigorous AP and honors courses throughout my high school career. I have 150+ volunteer hours with Hospice during high school. I received the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award (Only one student per high school is chosen), I also will be attending Florida Boys State in Tallahassee, Florida at Florida State University representing my High School. I feel that my academic & community contributions, and ability to play tennis at a higher level would be a great asset to a university for college.
