Matthew Anglin '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0 junior from Camilla, Georgia, and will graduate in 2011. I have at least 6 years of intense tennis training by several different coaches. I was even homeschooled my 8th grade year to spend the maximum amount of time on the tennis court with my pro/tennis coach. We ran every morning, completed coursework,and then hit the tennis courts for about 4 hours a day. On some days, I helped him teach tennis to small children at local schools. This was very rewarding and beneficial to give back what I have learned. I also wanted others to develop my love for this wonderful sport. I am highly competitive. I play USTA Junior Tournaments at least once or twice a month. I would like to pursue my education at an institution that would best fit my needs academically, as well as athletically. I am a well-rounded student-athlete. I have one year of college tennis under my belt. I played for Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. I played three thru six on the top line up. I have really big wins against some of the best division ll college has to offer. I am looking to transfer next year; I want to find a good college that has a lot to offer me.
