I started playing tennis in 8th grade and in love with the sport, I was close to making varsity freshman year, and I have played varsity since. since spring of last year I fully committed, an have been playing for around 2 hours everyday along with gym training and watching film and have been rapidly improving. I recently started practicing with 6-9 UTR players. Due to a lack of playing in tournaments I am about a 4 UTR, Ive beaten friends and practice players in matches with 6-7 UTRs and confident I can be ranked at a 6-7 UTR soon. I’ve recently talked to my coaches about college tennis and they said at my current skill level I could make a good fit for competitive D3 schools. My goals in college are to study electrical engineering along with dedicating myself to competitive tennis.
