I have been playing tennis since I was 7 years old. I started playing with the help of the Ottawa Summer Recreation Program. My inspiration to play tennis is my uncle, Jason Garner. He played tennis for University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. It is my biggest dream to play collegiate tennis. I don't want to just play tennis in college to say that I could. I want to play so that I can make myself the best that I can be. I also want to improve my teammates and support them the best I can. I want to play tennis on the collegiate level to feel the support of a team that is unparalleled to high school tennis. I am quite possibly one of the most coachable players you will ever meet because I have a drive to improve and become the best player as well as person that I can be. If it were not for my family as well as coaches and teammates who have supported me throughout my tennis journey, I would not have become the person who I am today and the person who I strive to be.
