I love the game of tennis. I have been playing since 2nd grade, and I have loved it from the first day I played. I played on the Middle School Team in 7th and 8th grade, and I am now playing 2nd/3rd singles on the Central High School Team as a freshman. I know that I'm only a freshman, but I am really excited about my future as a tennis player. I really want to play tennis at a college where I can study pediatrics or physical therapy. While tennis is very important to me, so are my academics. My main high school goal is to graduate with a 4.0+ GPA. I am also in all Honors classes and a program called Medical Professions Academy. For tennis, while my preferred position is singles, I will play anywhere my coach puts me because I want to help put my team in the best possible position to win matches. I truly believe that I work harder at tennis than just about anyone. I know that when I lose, there is no one more determined to improve and win my next match, and when I win, there's no one more excited. I always try to be a leader, whether it be on the tennis courts, in the classroom, or out in the community. I have many leadership positions, such as Class President of the Central Class of 2022, and I would love to bring my leadership abilities to a college and its tennis team. I believe that I would be a great fit for any college and its tennis program that values my hard work, determination, leadership, academics, and tennis skills.
