Hello Coaches,
My background in tennis began halfway through my eighth-grade year. I started playing competitive tennis in the fall of my freshman year of high school. Before playing tennis, I played middle school basketball and competed in state and national archery tournaments. During my freshman year, I played #2 doubles on the varsity team. During my sophomore year, I played #2 singles on the varsity team behind my older brother (Austin) who played #1 singles that year as a senior. Most recently during my junior year of high school, I played #1 singles for Roncalli High School. I have competed in Roncalli’s sectional and moved on to regionals each year. This year looks like I have a good chance of making it beyond regionals as I have worked harder and harder in each off-season.
During the off-season, I lift weights and continuously play tennis to improve my game. I know that I have to work harder than everyone else, because I have a lot of lost time to make up for. I have been taking lessons from a former ATP tennis professional (my father), playing USTA tournaments (at least twice a month), and working on my UTR rating. Beyond high school, I want to play tennis on a competitive college team. I enjoy tennis and its competitive nature. I have a strong desire to win and be the best at everything I do. I look forward to playing college tennis
