Personal Statement

Every success allowed me to dream and every failure kept me grounded. In the process, I chose to work hard and dream big. Sometimes it seems unfair not being able to do what my classmates and rest of my friends do on a normal day, but I chose a different path, which I intend to follow no matter what. In this path, discipline and time management are prerequisites, which I need to master further.

With the support of my parents, teachers, and coaches, I have managed to become the Cyprus national tennis champion for my age, and a top student at school.  I intend to continue the hard work and make my dreams come true.  I want to study Business in the USA in a world acclaimed school and play college tennis with a dynamic and well-structured team.  I would like to be among people who inspire me and make me a better tennis player and a better human being.  If I am lucky enough to have this, then I can bring significant value to the team.

My ultimate dream is to win a grand slam and become the first Cypriot tennis player in the top 5 of the ATP rankings.
