This year I am a Senior at Mt. Ararat High School. I am excited to tackle the year and improve both athletically and academically. I will be taking all AP courses as a senior, which many people tell me is not necessary, but I feel that it is important for me to continue to build on my academic foundation so I am as prepared as possible for my college curriculum.
Over the summer I have been working exceptionally hard at my game and have experienced great success on the court as a result. After coming off of a state championship singles title win; I have gone on to compete at men's open tournaments throughout the summer and have reached a rank (currently) of #5 in New England in the men's open standings list. I have generally moved away from junior usta because I find the competition to be better at the mens open events where I am competing against players of the college level and better. I am always looking for that next level of competition and I am always wanting to push myself. I think the value of taking on a challenge and enjoying the process makes me a great contender for any college team.
