Being part of the Wareham High School Boy's varsity tennis team since Eight Grade has been one of the key focal points of my High School Tenure. However, I think I grew the most when during my first season on the team was when we made the state tournaments and lost. That experience helped me to grow as a better person in the classroom and being a better teammate which will help my efforts to become a solid doubles and singles player at the College Level.
I can also stand out when my teammates need me the most. During my fourth season of High School Tennis, even though I did not like the decision because I was primarily a doubles player, my coach called on me to play Third Singles because of one of our better players being academically ineligible to play since he failed three classes. Making sacrifices for the betterment of the team changes how you look like a person on the playing field, in the classroom and in the real world. I'm looking to enroll in a program that will be a perfect fit both athletically and academically. I don't just have the potential talent for a college team, but the character, work ethic, time management, self-sacrifice and leadership which will help make your program better. As a Tennis player, I am ready to be a leader and who has what it takes to be a leader on your team.
