I was six years old when I picked up my first tennis racquet. I started playing competitive sports at a young age but tennis was always the sport I let loose in and had fun. When I was in middle school I joined the tennis team and learned how great it was to compete in tennis. After playing in middle school I realized tennis was a sport I really wanted to pursue at a competitive level. I worked hard and made the Varsity tennis team my freshman year at Brother Rice High School. I was put in the singles line up as a freshman and moved to #1 doubles my sophomore year. Competing at States for a Division 1 high school team ignited the drive in myself to want to continue playing tennis at the collegiate level.
I have been working hard in the classroom to keep improving my GPA as well as sharing my time in many different volunteer capacities. I also played on the JV baseball team my freshman year.
My goal is to find a college where I can receive a great education and also continue playing tennis at a competitive level. I am a hard worker on and off the court. My dedication to keep improving my tennis game is unwavering. I know I will continue to keep improving and growing stronger. I hope to find a college that will match my ambition to become the best I can be.
