Joshua Tedford '23 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate tennis goal is to play to my fullest potential. I want to be recruited by a college where I will actually play, improve and grow as a player while earning my Undergraduate degree. I know I’ll be an asset to any program, as long as it’s the right fit for me and for the school. I’m a team player and love winning as a team! I give (and will continue to give) 110% for my coaches and teammates.

What sets me apart from other recruits is that I am self-disciplined, self-motivated and teachable. On the court, I’m extremely competitive and hate losing more than I love winning. I strive to improve my technical skills and mental game each time I play. Off the court, you’ll see these same qualities in me. My parents have taught me that working hard academically and having a good education is a higher priority than high school athletics. However, I’m very serious about both, excelling in the classroom and on the court. I can’t wait to play tennis on the next level!
