My intentions right now are to enroll in a civil engineering program. I would love to play tennis for my college as well. My grade point ave is ( 99.5 ave). My father is a civil engineer as well. I've played tennis since 6th grade and have always wanted to go as far as I can in tennis. I am about the team. Me and my doubles partner were State Runners up in 5A boy doubles as sophmores last season. I've been on USTA Jr. team tennis teams and played on the 2019 Class 5A State championship team last year as #1 doubles. I love team championships and the spirit of competition. I enjoy helping my team mates get better with extra hitting and I have my own stringing machine so I help my sister ( who plays for MGCCC community college) and some of my friends. For personal development, Iron sharpens Iron so I try to play up in USTA. I do enjoy David and Goliath match ups. I've been successful in coming back for the W when down on some opponents I wasn't expected to beat. I've been limited to 5 or 6 USTA tournaments per year in the past and most of them level 4 so my rankings have been limited. I do plan to hit it hard after regular season with some level 2 Sectionals and level 5 National Tournaments to see if I can rise to the level I believe I'm capable of. The goal of my college experience is to complete my BS in civil engineering and to play on a good team with a good coach to make the experience the best it can be.
