February 2022Personal Statement
I aspire to be the best on and off the court. I am different not because of my record but my drive, determination and motivation. I am open to criticism and correction in both tennis & life, as my goal is to play at the highest level.
My overall record in varsity high school tennis is 59-3 (10th & 11th grade) which includes 33-0 during Fall 2021, finishing the season as State Champion in #1 Doubles, helping my team, Lincoln East, win a state championship. Best part was sharing the season with my teammates which includes helping roll/dry courts on a Friday night just so we could fit in a dual prior to State! Looking forward to sharing my senior season with my teammates next fall and hope to help lead them to another state championship.
I enjoy science and psychology and am interested in Marine Biology or some other related field. I also assist teaching the red/orange ball groups at my local racquet club.
