My goals for playing tennis in college are simple: I want to play on a national level, and play at the best of my ability to benefit my team. Off the court I will be a successful student in the classroom as I work toward my goal of being a performing arts major. While I lack years of experience playing tennis I've made up for that by constantly seeking out solutions to any obstacles I've faced on the court. I actively look for new opponents to play in order to gain experience against different styles and ability levels. I have become a student of the game by studying different strategies employed by the best tennis players in the world. Where I lack in skill, I overcome that with tenacity, effort, and perseverance.
