I am excited about the possibility of playing college level tennis and have been growing in strength, proficiency on the court, and management of match play through year round training with my Coach, Sean Kelleher from Franklin and Marshall College, and seasonal competition.
Finding a balance between academics, tennis, and a commitment to service work has been my goal for the past two years, and I am finding success. Each of these areas has gained strength because of the balance, and I have gained confidence in all areas as a result.
I am a team player. I am motivated more by my leadership amongst peers and my ability to challenge and energize those around me. Tennis as a team member is radically different than tennis as a USTA weekend traveler. I will lead my team as Captain this year as a Junior and look forward to challenging each player to bring their best performance to the courts every day.
I am undecided about my future occupation and expect great opportunity from my college experience to explore options. Whatever the direction at any given stage of my choices, my expectation for personal performance and contribution to my community is of greatest value to me.
