January 2022Personal Statement
I'm currently thriving in high school; achieving success with a heavy and rigorous academic schedule while also playing high-level tennis. I'm eager and prepared to continue this challenge in college.
My high school tennis coach says that I have a "bounce" about me. I'm a very confident, optimistic, gregarious, and uplifting teammate. I expect great performance out of myself and I aim to inspire and motivate my teammates. I'm not afraid of hard work. I truly believe that effort gets you everywhere in life.
I feel that I've used my time in high school to develop many aspects of my character. My academics are always at the top of my list and I have been #1 in my class of almost 500 students since starting high school. I've committed to a leadership role at my school on the student council and have volunteered for many local organizations. My passion for tennis has allowed me to travel and make connections all across the country.
