Personal Statement

I am a dedicated student and athlete. My goal is to become a teaching tennis pro. My specific skill set includes analyzing play, building rapport with players (especially in doubles play), and strategizing on and off the court. I would like to accomplish straight A's during my college years because I see the value in high academic achievement and know I need the financial resources that high grades can help me obtain. Although I don't carry the same physical attributes as a "typical" tennis player, I have been able to find my own strengths and mental advantages to compensate for some of my physical limitations (short and broad stature). I believe in representing myself with a quality character (honesty, integrity, and respect) on and off the court.
