I am focused on both playing tennis and continuing my education and would love the opportunity to be part of a high achieving and committed mens tennis team.
I left Australia when I was 16 to train full time and study at Bruguera Tennis Aacdemy in Spain, where I have lived since September 2017.
The regime of full on court and physical training of around 30-40 hours a week plus face to face study and homework time of around another 30 hours a week, takes determination, organisation and committment. It is perfect preparation what would be required to balance high performance tennis and study at University.
I have been able to maintain a GPA of 4.0 throughout my study and am looking to study in the area of economics and finance.
I will finish high school (AESA Prep Academy, which is based in Barcelona, Spain) in December 2019 (as I commenced year 9 in January 2016 in Australia), and so am looking to start US College in August/September 2020.
In Spain, training is very focussed on individual singles play, but back in Australia I have always played club tennis in a team as well as representing my district in inter-association competition. Playing in these teams, has been a highlight of my teenage tennis years, where I have won a number of trophies for team events, including Junior Pennant Player of the Year for U14's and most recently player of the tournament for the Daphne Fancutt Trophy (U18's).
I also have a strong doubles track record, which I know is an important part of US College mens tennis.
I believe I would be be a valuable member of a mens tennis team and would love to hear from you.
