I am a future class of 2020 high school graduate with a big dream of playing college tennis.
I started playing tennis at the age of five and I knew then that tennis was the sport for me. My dad played high school and college tennis and that has always motivated me to do the same, unfortunately my dads job requires him to travel so he misses a lot of my matches, but we always find the time to go over my results. I enjoy playing and I’ve learned a lot about myself through the years. I am very competitive, I don’t give up easily, I play fair and always have. I am confident in what I do and I’m always looking to improve on and off the court.
If I’m not on the courts working on my game or playing tournaments, I’m studying with a plan to finish high school with a great GPA. I believe this gives me the best opportunity to go to college and study engineering while playing the sport I love.
On my free time I work at my neighborhoods country club stringing racquets in the tennis shop. This has allowed me to work with former college tennis players and current teaching pros. I really want to make my family proud, so I do all I can to stay focused on my goals to attend college and hopefully play college tennis.
