To any coach that views my profile I would like to say thank you for viewing me. I believe that I would be a good fit for you your team because I am extremely dedicated to this sport. I come from an area that isn’t the richest when it comes to having the best things in life. Everything I have now wasn’t given to me, I worked hard and earned it. I never give up on anything hard and I will continue to do so.
As far as playing tennis, growing up in my neighborhood and loving tennis was harder than it sounds. My district was never focused on tennis, they mainly cared only for basketball or football. I was always teased about playing a so called “white” sport. On top of that I was a really heavy kid and wasn’t quick on my feet. But I didn’t let that stop me from wanting to play the sport. I’ve been playing since I was in eight grade and have to improved since then. I’ve been a varsity member on my team since my sophomore year.
I’m a very committed team player. Even when I didn’t want to go to practice I knew that I would have stay after school enable to reach that college level that I want to achieve. I became team captain of my tennis team my junior year. And within my first year of being team captain I was able to lead my team to its first ever second place district championship.
Now during this quarantine I have been practicing on my skills and working out more than ever to fit the tennis body figure. I used to weigh 339 and I now weigh 205 and will continue to loose weight enable to stay in shape. I continue to practice by myself and try to critique every little thing that I do enable to gain more skills and knowledge. This sport is my life and little did I know, this sport has literally saved my life and I will continue to play it and look forward to being the hardest worker for any school who decided to have me as their player
