Frederick Cannon '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello!

My name is Frederick Cannon.  I am currently a Senior at Ingram Tom Moore High School.   I began playing tennis in the 8th grade and immediately fell in love with the sport.  I am interested in competing at the collegiate level  as well as pursuing my degree in Business Administration.

I am on the court playing tennis everyday,  weather permitting.  I usually spend between 1 to 2 hours playing tennis on a daily basis.  I know that with dedication,  practice and private lessons my skill level will continue to improve.   I am also proud to say that I have found the balance between tennis and my studies!

My teammates would describe me as focused, dedicated and hardworking.  They would also say that I am a team player.  As an upperclassman and leader I always encouraging and supportive my teammates.   We are currently playing team tennis.   Although we are a AAA school we play AAAA schools.  My coach always says,  "You will only get better when you play the better players."   My coaches would describe me as agile, fast and strong.   I have also been told that I take direction well and I am very coachable.
