I have been a lifelong athlete in a variety of sports. I began playing competitive tennis in 8th grade and since then, I have been in love with all aspects of the game. As a result, I want to continue playing at the next level.
I recognize that only starting to play in my early teens puts me in a tough situation compared to my peers that have been playing their whole lives. I make up for this by my athleticism, coachability and strong work ethic.
In addition, I am a strong student currently taking AP and Dual credit courses. As a result, upon graduation from high school, I will have at least 24 college credits under my belt. Other non-sport extra-curriculars include: Church projects, the annual high school musical and helping film "Shattered Dreams."
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court. I am very interested in pursuing a degree in engineering but I know that could change as I move towards graduation. I would also enjoy coaching, as well. Regarding my choice of colleges, I am open to all options as I want to find the best fit for myself and the best place to help me launch the next phase of my life.
