I’ve been playing tennis recreationally for four years and only started taking it seriously at about the halfway mark. I started from the bottom at my school and I only saw one way to go, up. I rose the ranks on my team and practiced for hundreds of hours by myself and with my teammates. I focused on what I knew I needed to fix and what I needed to polish. I finally made it to number one rank and then, corona. Even during these times of unrest I still found ways to train my body through running or weightlifting. Once I see a path I don’t stop pursuing what’s at the end of it and that is why I want to pursue playing tennis in my collegiate career.
