My name is Avraheim Shaw, and I am in my senior year at Samuel Clemens High School. Growing up I have played many sports, but tennis was the main sport that caught my attention during the seventh grade. This made me start loving the sport and wanting to continue during college and more.
It was fun playing junior varsity in the ninth grade, but it evolved in my sophomore and junior year as I earned my spot on varsity. In my sophomore year I received second all-district, and first team all-district junior year, and third place for doubles in my district making first alternate for regionals.
I am currently training at the University of Texas at San Antonio and growing as a person, player, and teammate. I also trained at Blossom tennis center for about a year and a half working on technique and control. My versatile playing style has landed me playing positions of 3rd and 4th singles and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd doubles while being number four on my team.
