Tennis is a passion and its family! My dad introduced me to tennis when I was just old enough to hold a racquet. I have been in love with the sport ever since I can remember. Throughout middle school, I played in camps as often as I could. I was very unsure of where I would stand when I got to high school and was very nervous for try-outs as a freshman. I was thrilled that I was placed at the number one position on the team. From that point on I have wanted to work as hard as I can to be the best that I can be. Every year I take a gym class to keep up with my conditioning. I play tennis at least 5 days a week. I have been in so many classes and camps that I cannot even count them all. My local tennis association, PTPA (Peninsula Tennis Patrons Association), is the place where I go to compete. Honestly, I have won almost all the tournaments I have entered in both singles and doubles. In October 2023 we will have our Masters Tournament where I am the #1 seed. With all of this, I am still back to thinking as I did as a freshman, where do I go to continue my progress and keep working as hard as I can to be the best I can be. This is where college comes in. I am excited that I know what I want to study as many of my friends do not. Honestly, I am looking forward to this next chapter.
