Qualifying for Nationals with my 18’s Junior tennis team was one of my greatest achievements of my high school athletic career, But it didn’t come without many hardships. My first two years I was one match short of reaching the regional tournament. This made me refocus my efforts and focus on tennis much more not only to become a better athlete but better in the classroom as well. My Gpa currently sits at a 3.11 and currently rising with making honor roll this past semester with a 3.66 GPA. One of the greatest achievements during my high school tennis team career was going from league ranks of 5th place all the way up to 3rd as I value team success over individual, and getting voted Team captain by the players a coaches on my team meant a lot to me. I am a avidly volunteering the community by working at local food banks, helping plant trees in local communities, and participating in trash clean ups around the city. Being a Student first Athlete second is big to me, as working hard in the classroom translates to feeling better on the playing field. I feel as I would be a great fit for any team do to being a leader on and off the field; whether that means staying after to help a teammate work on his shots, or tutoring a teammate who is struggling in class, or even congratulating teammates on their own individual success.
