Since playing in my freshman year at Oak Creek High School, I’ve developed a strong passion for tennis. I devote my time in training and competing while maintaining a good academic standing and a great trumpet player in my high school band. I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete in my junior year representing my school to State tournament while taking four AP classes. That humble experience let me see the best student athletes playing for their schools and motivated me to strive further this coming season.
Playing for the OCHS Boys tennis team, I learned the value of teamwork, commitment and leadership. Teamwork and being a team player are important to me, and I demonstrated this through inspiring and motivating my team to become better through additional practices. I also enjoy watching and cheering on my team during their matches. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically while preparing me for dental program in graduate school. I believe I have the skills to compete for a college team and my work-ethic, passion, commitment to tennis will make me a strong contributing member to your program.
