Of all of the influences in my life, my parents are the biggest. They have taught me the importance of hard work and more importantly, my faith. I know that to be good at anything I have to work hard it and taking the easy way will never get me where I want. My parents first introduced me to tennis when I was eight years old and I have loved it ever since then. I love the competition and the strategy that goes into every tennis match I play. Tennis has taught me that hard work and dedication will bring success. There is no possible way that I can be good at anything if I only put half my effort into it.
I use the same ideas in my classes. I understand that to get good grades I have to pay attention and work hard on the subject. I am going to keep my current GPA of 3.9 and I am currently planning to go into college as a business major. I have never run into any obstacle that has really set me back before. Anything I run into I am always able to overcome. I am the kind of the person that would rather get cut from the team than not try out. I am always giving my all for anything that is really important, and when I give my all there are very few things that I cannot accomplish.
