I started pole vaulting in Seventh grade. In my first season i qualified for the gold meet with a jump of 7'6(in feet). As i grew i gradually got better. In the summer of 2019 i jumped 9'6. At the beginning of the indoor season we just got a new coach. She told me i was going to get 13 by the end of the outdoor season. In the indoor last chance meet i needed to jump 11 to qualify for state. I jumped 11'6. My previous PR was 9'6. When outdoor came around i placed 4th in my first meet with a jump of 11'6, That was our last official meet of the season due to Covid-19. We had one mock meet with our team just so we could get a couple of jumps in before everything shut down. i tied for first with a jump of 11'6. I am overall a hard worker and will give everything i do my all.
