I think that the main factor in being able to perform highly at a college level is commitment. I am very strong in this area, and have been told this by many of my coaches. I have run for multiple years in cross-country, as well as track and field. My main goal for college running is to be able to continue in what I love to do and find a college that will work best for that goal, and my academics as well. I believe that one of the key differences between me and other athletes, is that I am very dedicated and willing to put in the work to get where I want to go, or what I want to achieve. I'm excited to start this next step after high school, and only strive to become the best version of myself in all areas of life. I believe that running is all about mindset, skill will only take one so far, and it must be coupled with a string will. This is one characteristic that separates me from the majority of runners; even if I don't race my best one day, don't hit a pr that day, etc. I will stay mentally fortuitous, and not let it drag me down. When practice gets hard, I will push through until I reach my goal. I not only want the best for myself, but to see my teammates succeed. We are a team, although we race individually, I want to be able to push my teammates to their goals and work as a group for greater success. Thanks for reading all of this and feel free to contact me through my email.
